Gallardo Ownership age
Discussion
Not a very serious posting but was wondering what the average age of the Gallardo owners are on here,
Im going through the process of talking myself in and out of purchasing one soon and one of my plus reasoning’s is that I am 40 in a few years time and maybe 40+ driving a supercar is a bit middle age crises so best do it now while still in my thirtys.
Ideally I would have loved to have owned one at 30 and im expecting many owners here to be closer to the 30 age than 40 !

If you are young people think its your dads car or you are a drug dealer.
If you are middle aged its a mid life crisis
If your old its " he / she is too old to enjoy it"
These comments will only come from jelous people - buy what you want and enjoy it for yourself
I 100% agree with that siht If you are middle aged its a mid life crisis

I'm 45, I bought my SL a couple of years ago, so typical "mid life crisis". I considered buying "stealth grey" trying to convince myself it would be less conspicuous. My mate reminded me, it's a LAMBO and very LOUD, so I thought sod it if I'm going to get one I'll get a bright orange one. So yeah I'm mid 40's and drive a bright orange lambo and don't give a toss what anyone else thinks.
45 ? yes
sl two years ago ? yes
mlc ? definitely
"stealth grey" ? er, yes
dgatwaet ? yes

Andrew i don't listen to what Jon tells me he can't even make up his own mind what car he wants. I will be working away a lot of the time this year so the car will just sit on the drive and not be used and with me away the wife may want to use it
so she can have a 4 seater soft top which is what she wants, anything to keep the peace

33 now. 32 when I bought the Gallardo. Would have got one earlier if I could, but would have waited until I'm 80 if I couldn't before then. Just love them.
People love the car and generally not bothered about the driver. If they comment on the driver they've definitely got an attitude problem.
Good luck and don't spend too much time talking yourself out of it (that argument will never win anyway).
All the best

Hi,
I was lucky enough to purchase a 08 gallardo sypder last year. Never thought about the age thing, work hard, play hard I say. Im 38 now and loving the purchase and hope to buy more from Andrew soon.
It is a privilege to own such a nice car so when you buy one, enjoy it I say regardless of age !
