yes, wrong, very

Obviously they don't and can't work in the same way as the doors on a Countach/Diablo/Murciélago do and look like the kind of tat some kid with a tarted up Corsa has cobbled together with bits of Meccano™ on a Saturday afternoon...

But, just imo, wreck your Gallardo all you want if you really must...

I love the Gallardo. But god do I love the Countach/Diablo/Murci doors.

Saw this, and was pondering just how wrong it was: http://pistonheads.com/sales/1344249.htm

I may be a girly, but even I know that they are not gullwing doors. They're not true scissor doors either, which is what real Lambo doors are.

True. Even so, I still feel mildly turned on when I look at it.

Is that the one at amari?

I have spoken to Amari about this car, and they were very helpful. I would urge anyone to deal with Amari and I will speak highly of Amari to anyone I meet. I think Amari are excellent. I have dealt with Amari in the past, and service from Amari has been spot on. I will recommend Amari to anyone!

Oh - I am not Amari!

hehe

Whats Amari's quality of service got to do with scissor doors?

Saw this car in a carpark before MPH, the doors open out like a normal gallardo for 1/4 of the way then tilt upwards. Didn't like them, and when closed they dont seem to fit flush with the bodywork.
If you were to buy a BF Performance then yes, changed to them on a standard gallaro, No!

Yes - personally I think it is wrong - but if Lambo had built it right (i.e. with scissor doors) in the first place, people wouldn't have to bodge this mod.....IMHO
