Orange Murcielago SV crash
On the way back from town about 1pm on the A40 going west, orange murci sv on the other side crashed and smashed up. Looked a bit of a mess, front and rear smashed up. Was raining and had clearly spun. Hope it was noone from here

Oh no!
Not mine.
The no wing option - wasn't that the car that Rutboy helped out with - It has been seen at Windsor - I thought that was for sale at Wood Motor Company?
I do hope that everyone involved was okay - and that there are no complications for anybody.

Edited to remove any evidence of my hangover....

Passenger cell looks fine Anjum, I'd be surprised if there was anything more than dented pride and a sore neck going on there
Why do Lambo's chuck their wheels so readily? (check out www.wreckedexotics.com - loads on there fling their wheels at the first sign of a barrier too?)

Well chaps, you are correct, this was the first SV in the UK supplied to my friend by Lamborghini London.
It is the one I posted pics of on here, and it is the one we took to Supercar Sunday.
I have spoken to the owner, and fortunately for him, he sold the car on Thursday!
This looks like an over excited employee of the company who now owns the car having lost it, big style.
All I'm glad about is that on the face of it, no one has been hurt, my friend had nothing to do with it, as he would never want to drive the car again if it had been damaged, and that the deal was done so that he can get a new toy when the time is right.
As for the car, I am heart broken that it is now in this state, but knowing how these cars now have chassis that are bolt on and bolt off beyond the passenger shell, it should be repairable, as long as it done correctly.
Oh well, to my friend, who I know is reading this, I can't wait until I get the call that he has found what he is looking for, and I get to help him as much as I can.
Cheers,
Ruttboy.

Oh dear. I remember seeing this car at Supercar Sunday last year and it is a shame it came to an end like this.It is the one I posted pics of on here, and it is the one we took to Supercar Sunday.

But at least there were no injuries, let alone fatalities.

For the same reason that race cars do I imagine.

MAjor components are built with light weight materials that are only designed to take stresses from certain angles. If they get a stress from an angle that it shouldnt, such as during a crash, they break.
