A few questions

Hi,
Looking at either a Gallardo or a F430 but before you switch off I'm not going to ask which one I should buy as I can make my own mind up;)
I do have a few questions though;
What is the width of the F430 including the mirrors? I believe it's 1923mm excluding the mirrors.
What are either cars like with speed bumps?
Are there any independent garages to service either car near the Swindon area?

Never had any problems with speed bumps in my Gallardo

I have had to be very careful of speed bumps on a couple of occasions, I have heard scraping a few times, luckily it has been the bit of plastic that hangs down a bit lower than the front bumper, so no damage has been caused as of yet. On one occasion I couldn't get off my mums drive, I had to get a plank of wood to go under the wheels, whilst holding up loads of traffic, it was very embarrassing.

when i was looking at 430s, the ride heights varied quite a bit

f430 fine on the wide speed bumps, providing you slow to a stop almost. not good on those twin lumpy ones - those should be banned i reckon

I could be very wrong on this but don't UK spec F430's have a different/unique suspension geometry to standard F430's..??
