Does anyone know if the paint warranty on Lambo's is dependant on the car having a full main dealer service history?

I have had some bubbling above the sills inside the doors of my car that luckily is being treated via the paint warranty, but was told (By the dealer) that one of the reasons Lamborghini authorised the work (Thank god!) is because the car has a full main dealer service history. Is this correct? I have just had the car serviced via a main dealer, but if I decide in the future to use an Indy, will this invalidate the remaining paint warranty?

Thanks

Ok, thanks, thats helpful to know. Out of interest, did you have some corrosion corrected, if so where was it on the car?

Yes it was a small bubble on sill behind drivers door just before the air intake, common so lambo said.

Sounds like it is due to stonechipping possibly? Did they use a magnifier to look for a chip?

Sounds silly but my old Ford KA had millions of bubbling at the base of the rear quarters behind each door. All later models now have paint protection film fitted there so i knew they had realised their errors but didnt help me!

It was not a stone chip, LHW said they have had quite a few with the same problem 04/05/06 Gallardos.
