My 360 battery is dead as. Its been in the garage for 8 weeks and not had a run out. I have been advised to start it a minimum of once a fortnight and will do so, but wondered.......
I have seen a car charger that basically plugs into the ciggie lighter and connects either to a 13amp socket or a donor car, would this be sufficient to start the fezza? It would save removing the passenger kickplate etc.

Also, I am likely to have clearshield applied in a month or two on the front bumper, half bonnet and lights together with replacing the film on the side air intakes. Has anyone had this done, if so how much and where.

Finally, has anyone upgraded the Hifi, putting a subwoofer between the seats. Is it a bit chavvy? Where can I get it done and how much, should I chage the head unit too?

I use a CTEK 3600 with lighter adaptor in my 360 with great results, never had a problem.

No need to change the ICE, you have a fantastic orchestra some 2 feet behind you!

If your battery is dead the Accumate will take forever to bring it back to life and most certainly not start it by just connecting up.

You are best to keep car on trickle charge when not in use.

Paintsheild in Peterborough come highly recomended see Club Scud forum.

As per other posts, get a Ctek battery conditioner, if you leave it for a day or so, it should be enough to start the car (if the battery itself isnt dead)

You can get a Ferrari battery conditioner.................but its just a rebranded Ctek smile

Search my posts and you'll see I had same dilema a few weeks ago.
I went for a CTEK and would definitely recommend it, either fitted via cigarette lighter or direct (mine seems to charge faster and better if connected directly).

Google CTEK 3600 XS and you'll find them. I bought online and it arraived within 2 days.

Thanks for the help guys. I am going to get a CTEK and a ciggie adaptor. With regard to the clearshield, I have been quoted £250 by a firm in Bedford, the owner has a 360, so will likely go there. His has an upgraded stereo which made me ask the question. Finally, some little herbert pinched a valve cap last time I was out, they were real nice, ferrari logo with a rotating head you had to grip. Can I get these anywhere (or similar) perhaps that go on with an Allen key?

If you've got a Costco nearby, they have the Cteks for less than most people smile

That seems bloody cheap. Lowest quote I got was for £1000.

What company is it? I might give them a call.

The place in Bedford is RPB, they do clearsheild, tinting, graphics and other car mods. Also have a chips away franchise on site and that is the guy who has the 360. The price I was quoted was for the front end, bonnet, lights, and side intakes. I have heard they are perfectionists so will try them.

I live in Bedford too (yes I know, it's a dump). Never heard of RPB but I used Paintshield in Peterborough to completely wrap my RS60 in plastic. They did a great job.
