Those are great pix Albert!
Are there any dates on them at all and anymore to see in addition??
The car under the sheet nearest the 'prototype'-that-Bob's-messing-about-with-this-week is an original spec. Jarama judging by the Campagnola cast centre bolt wheels and there's another in the distance of one shot - quite a few Espadas as well, a Miura and a 400GT in for extensive body repair as well...
THOSE FLOOR TILES ARE STILL AT THE FACTORY as far as I know!!

Thank you Albert - great to see something new here!
It's pretty quiet here on the F, M, L & B section of PistonHeads these days because there seems to be a infestation of idiots roaming around causing endless grief and trouble.
I recall a time not more than a 18 months ago where this section (at least) was full of proper entertainment and information, discussing cars of a great standard and at all levels and not threads clotted with arrant idiots who, frankly, don't deserve even this amount of writing effort to discuss.
But please, keep up the good work Albert.

I am a massive fan of the 400gt
+1 !
from an owner of a car towards the other end of the ages of the front-engined Lamborghini squadron...
There is just something about the kind of car Ferruccio wanted for himself, whether 350GT, 400GT, Islero or Jarama...

Front-engined Lambo's were unique, especially compared to period cars like Jags, Astons, and such.
The Daytona, Khamsin, Islero were a breed of their own. Somehow a bloodline stopped early 80s.

"Subsequently the three litre engine from the Jet Competizione 003 was removed to be fitted in Bruce McLaren's first Formula 1 car. The best result scored by the Serenissima engined McLaren M2B was a sixth position at Brands Hatch, scoring the team's first World Championship point."
