I can't help thinking this car isn't terrible value if it checks out, it's 'missing' he more funky interiors of the red cars but this doesn't detract from the driving pleasure.

It would also be brightened up no end by the strip, has anyone had this put on and what sort of cost is it?

Any decent paint shop could spray that on for fraction of what Ferrari would charge. As a matter of fact I could do that myself

Don't forget it goes all along the roof and back of the car as well, they can use a sticker that then gets lacquered on. Apparently it looks good

Most CS's have an aftermarket stripe fitted you can buy them from approx £100 upwards or get Al to paint it on for about £1200 biggrin

That car is stunning, it's pretty much my dream car.

I don't think it suffers one bit for not having the stripe (I actually think the stripe is a bit tacky - all just imo off course).

Looks a great price as well.

I know you can get a sticker for a couple hundred if that or you could have it professionally painted on for 360 about £1500 ish.

Hope that helps

Paintshield had a red CS wrapped in White when I was there. They might be able to do the stripe for you.

Correct! I brought one from a fellow PH'er and had a go at fitting it myself....word of advice - don't bother; after two hours of swearing I gave up.

I got mine done at DK Engineering while it was in for an MOT - perfect job and 250 quid all in.

Can you tell it is a sticker and does it come off?

Is there a way of doing it so it looks closer to the factory original stripe

I am not sure that is right, I've always been told it is hand painted

I heard that the initial press cars stripes were hand painted but later cars were not. I cannot vouch for the former but can the latter.
