Early manual Gallardos
Discussion
Hi there guys.
I am contemplating purchase of an early Gallardo with manual box.
Several people have warned me away from the early cars, saying that they had quite a few teething problems.
Surely, these would by now, have been sorted under warranty.
Can anyone please enlighten me?
Thank you.

I believe there were some issues with the very early cars, chassis numbers 400 and less. Early cltches were weak, but most should have been replaced by now with a D or E revision, which are very strong. Mine was first registered in June04. I have had it for 3 years now, use it for the daily commute and has been perfect - it starts without fail, uses virtually no oil and has been faultless.
Thanks guys.
This one looks interesting.
Does need a service though!
I believe that Karl Verdi has a good reputation.
