Selling my Maserati to a dealer
Discussion
Any of you guys know or can recommend any dealers that would be interested in an outright purchase of an older Maserati?
I moved to the sun 2 years ago and ironically it never gets used, I tend to use our left hand drive vehicles.
So a quick solution that involves nipping to england works for me (dont want any hassle), hence dealers are my best bet really, so any pointers as to who may be interested would be great, more the merrier, goes to highest bidder then.
Cheers!

Yeah, if you want to give the car away!As for a quick sale of your car, try www.webuyanycar.com, I was very surprised at how much I was offered for my accident damaged and badly repaired maserati. they might offer you a decent price.

I have had some dealings with ADG and although we couldn't find a deal at that time (My fault) I was very comfortable in dealing with them and certainly would recommend them from a buyer's point of view. The mileage might be an issue.
Pop over to maseratiforum.co.uk and ask. I know that it is a pain but at that mileage you might only be able to sell it privately.
The other option is to px it for another car which is easier to sell on. I did that when I sold my 3200GT way back and was very surprised how much I got for the Maser. Some dealers don't know how to value them so give it a whirl.

Mileage would be an issue normaly but I have owned the car since new (virtually) so can account for the cars complete history, receipts, photos etc which seemed to help & compensate for the mileage issue, plus these engines are well documented as being very reliable now, not heard of a failure myself (unlike the 3200) and have been a member on Maseratiforum.co.uk since ownership, higher mileage 4200s are much easier to shift than an = 3200 I beleive.Pop over to maseratiforum.co.uk and ask. Another car in the form of LHD could be a point but I dont need anymore cars TBO (see profile) & it would create more hassle when I pop over to sell & I do not want to spend any more time in the UK than I can help really.
Spock - will give James a shout as well, thanks

just for the record (seeing they always seem to get a hammering) all the dealers I have spoken to have been really helpfull, got back to me when they said they would and been possitive about the car even with its mileage + their offers have all been reasonable and in the same ball park, quite pleasantly surprised
one even said dropping my to the station after I dropped it off was not a problem at all
have a word with www.dicklovett.co.uk at DL sporting, ask for Edward Lovett
