The day you woke up to collect your supercar experiences

As title says really. These cars have that magic something that turns us back into 5 year olds on Xmas Eve, so was wondering what everyone's experience was when collecting your new supercar.
> Was it a sudden purchase only a week or so back or did you long to own one for years?
> Could you sleep the night before?
> Did you wake up earlier than you would normally?
> What did you do in the morning and what were your feelings (anxious, excited, worried, etc)?
> What were your feelings collecting it in person and sitting behind the wheel knowing it's yours for the first time?
> Did you go out for hours of driving straight away or did you go back home to admire it in peace?
> Did you go straight to a family or friends house and give loved ones a quick blast?
> Was it your first super car? If not, which experience was the most memorable? The first one?
> Do you remember others pointing and giving you the thumbs up or taking pics for the first time?
Everyone will no doubt share the same feelings of happiness - but what was your personal experience like?

> Did you wake up earlier than you would normally? - Yes as I had to drive from Nottingham to Maidstone to buy it
> What did you do in the morning and what were your feelings (anxious, excited, worried, etc)? - Worried as the salesman had not confirmed the funds had cleared
> What were your feelings collecting it in person and sitting behind the wheel knowing it's yours for the first time? - Like the first time I had sex !!! ( last week )
> Did you go out for hours of driving straight away or did you go back home to admire it in peace? - 3 Hour drive back with my dad and usually for me put it in the garage
> Did you go straight to a family or friends house and give loved ones a quick blast? - Picked my wife up from her mums and gave it a blast home, we had visitors all night coming to see the car, we drank champagne in the garage and just looked at the car
> Was it your first super car? If not, which experience was the most memorable? The first one? - First of hopefully many
> Do you remember others pointing and giving you the thumbs up or taking pics for the first time? - It was a thursday in August when i fetched it, didn't drive it again until saturday night when i went out in convoy with 2 mates in F355s racing up the A1, the sun was setting and the exhausts were flaming, awesome !!!

I was just about to try and find that before I saw your thread. Great write up by him, just a shame the pictures have now gone. His was IMHO one of the nicest colours I've ever seen on a Murci!ETA: Didn't take a long, found it!
