recommend me an early ferrari book

[shirt]

I am just browsing the octane 60yrs of ferrari book (free with the mag from Tesco) and the article on the 250s made it clear I have some gaps in my knowledge. I also only discovered the existence of the 250gt zagato this week.

can anyone recommend me a good book covering EVERY model & variant upto, say 1970? after then its pretty straight forward. its the 50s/60s cars that interest me most anyway.

tia.

A good place to start would be a copy of "Ferrari" by Hans Tanner and Doug Nye, a fairly weighty book (a couple of inches thick) that goes through the company and engineering history as well as the cars (corsa and stradale)

Keith Bluemel, Restorers guide to ferrari v8's is pretty good. probably a bit late for you though.
