Love the colour personally! Are ecurie25 still about? How did you get to drive the car?

Yeah, they're still about. Seem to have done well compared to the other hire companies.

I was a member of ecurie25 for 3 years - It was great!

I've now had no super car action for 6 months so I am about to join another club. IMO car clubs are the way forward.

Cheers,

J

Are the clubs worthwhile if you can't get time off work and so need the cars on weekends only?

Btw: That photo doesn't do the Pearlescent green true justice - it's a stunning colour, and I remember seeing PM Dawn driving one down Sloane Street turning all the heads!

Yeah, I think they're still worth it just for the weekends. When I first joined I always took cars out during the week, they worked out cheap and I just blasted anywhere & everywhere. Just before I left the club I made sure I was actually doing stuff/going somewhere before I booked up cars. I saw the whole experience as an extended test drive. How I see it, I got to drive about 20 different super cars over 3 years. How else can you do that without having a ton of money?

Super Car Clubs are good to get rid of those Super Car itches!!!

All good fun!

Cheers.

I've just joined Ecurie 25 in Yorkshire I think it represents fantastic value and a great selection of cars available which I'm really looking forward to using this year. I've lost more than the Ecurie membership fee in a month on cars I've bought previously !

Nice pics and write up, Jeremyc. I only managed to get two pics of this beast. One is the pic I posted, the other was the beast being transported back to Lamborghini as it broke down. I was gutted at the time, but got the green meanie for another weekend so all worked out cool!

I am sure I saw this is the M&S car park on the Leeds ring road on Sunday. Looked the same but had different wheels on it. Wonder if the new owner has changed them.

If it's a hire car and the number plate had already been shown by the OP, why scramble it in your images?

I think the scrambled plate pics predate (2007) the OP's

How did i miss this thread? wink

Yep, i had the Murci for a weekend, and what an absolute beast it was.

Incredibly flawed in many ways, but you forget them all when you floor it and hear that V12 screaming behind you.... thumbup

Personally i loved the exterior/interior combo, suited it perfectly.

edit: Oh yeah, and it broke down on me too! Starter motor went... hehe
