Most pictures of the 458 seem to feature yellow cars. Not a usual Ferrari colour but I think it really suits the shape (unfortunately in pictures only as I have yet to see one in the flesh).
Views (especially if anyone has acually seen one)?

I saw the three layer yellow (Giallo Triplo Strato) at the launch in Maranello and it's stunning but a very costly option at £11k. I also saw the similarly expensive three layer Rosso Fuoco which looks good. The other cars on display were Rosso Corsa and Nero Daytona. The yellow was easily the most striking.

great pictures. Agreed both look good but yellow looks stunning. A bit steep for 3 coats of paint isn't it!!

Anybody got a shot of a black one?

Can imagine it looking pretty impressive!

It's a bit more involved than 3 coats of paint, trust me. I've had a three layer paint Ferrari before and know what's required in the paint process which explains the high cost wink These colours are hand painted for Ferrari by a specialist coachbuilder in Maranello.

Here are some Nero Daytona cars....

It's nice in black, but it doesn't show off the cars curves that well.

Same here (if only) though for some reason I also quite like the green one in the pics above!

Just this pic alone makes me love the look of the 458, don't ask me why.
