I think that's the Zonda I had the pleasure of driving a few years back. Glad to hear it's going to be repaired though!

Interesting...

http://www.autocar.co.uk/blogs/anythinggoes/archiv...

"The Pagani in question was being driven by a colleague who works for a rival magazine, and unfortunately for him the owner of the £528k Zonda was sitting in the passenger seat at the time. Ouch."

Hope its not Harry Metcalfe of EVO fames car.

It's not Harry Metcalfe's car.

But that Autocar article is rather interesting, and the 250 GTO, ouch!

Which magazine uses Aviva to insure test cars? Would be interested to know if the driver will confess to this. Probably not an evo contributor as they would be more likely to be driving Harry Metcale's car.

I don't know if the owner wants their name and registration plastered all over the internet. It might already be there but we don't have to propagate this tabloid crap.

Repost from above. He has denied it was him as he was out the Uk at time of accident.

The owner can't be too worried as he as already bought another one to replace it with. Can easily see how it would happen though. I let my mate drive mine and was very lucky to avoid the barriers on a tank slapper at quite decent speed. So many people used to 4wd and modern traction control that they forget they can't just jump into a older car and just floor it. Easy to see why the GT2 and similar had the widow maker tag.

Apparently stuffed by an "internationally famous racing driver" according to papers today. Not Stewart though.

I wonder which magazine uses such a person to test cars?
