Thanks for the advice over the last few months guys on buying a Diablo 6.0, but I have gone left of center and bought a Ford GT instead. Before the Lambo lads start screaming, I have to say t is an incredible car, and the GT40 is my all time favourite bar none. I have only had the GT a few weeks, so I am still getting to know it, but Ford have made a serious car here.
I did not look for a GT, it is one of only two in this country, but I heard about it through a friend, it was not advertised for sale, more a case of get it out of my sight I think due to a deteriorating domestic situation!!
Virtually new, just 1700 miles, in my fav. colour combo, Tungsten without stripe. So far my only gripe would be steering which is a little over assisted......oh and I am really interested in a sport exhaust for the car. Done a bit of research, and tha main vendors in the US like Heffner seem to be the favourite, but they want $2500 for a sport muffler, which is really just a H pipe in stainless, a very simple fabrication. Any GT owners know of a UK company that makes a sport muffler at a reasonable cost??. $2.5k before shipping and taxes is just taking the pi$$!

I've got the Accufab X-Pipe. Have a chat with Mounttune / Revolve and they should be able to help. http://www.revolve.co.uk/

Thanks Phil, is it much louder than stock? The car is quite tame with the stock system, but I am not looking for too much loudness...

Really nice GT! I have never seen the Tungsten with no stripe combo. Looks really cool smile
Plus good choice on the standard alloys as they look much better than the upgraded ones IMHO.

Have fun!

It's about as far as you'd want to go to be honest. It's still fine on a long run but much louder when you stand on the throttle.
