Does anyone know please whether it's possible to fit a decent looking (and usable!)smaller steering wheel on a 4200? I'm 6' 2'' and still haven't really found a completely comfortable driving position!!

Never seen an after market steering wheel on 4200s...
Have you tried maseratiforum?
TBH 4200 driving position is crap. I couldn't find comfortable position either despite I'm just 5'7
(was the reason why I eventually didn't buy one)

I did struggle with the driving position at first as it was very different to the previous car I owned but after a while did get used to it. I am 5 10" and found that my legs were too close to the peddals when the steering wheel was at the right distance. It did take a while experimenting but eventually I found a position which seemed to work reasonable well. Trial and error appears to be the way with them and even the dealer admitted it always took him a while to adjust to driving a 4200 for any time.

I suspect a smaller wheel will not make that much difference but in theory it should be possible. Good luck!
