Just got an email through from the guys at Underground Racing about their run at the Texas Mile in this Twin-Turbo Gallardo. 250.1 MPH on a standing mile, and yet street legal, totally driveable. Simply amazing.

Not hugely surprising, there's a couple of 1200bhp twin-turbo lp640s floating around the U.S too.

This beauty holds the Texas mile record, hitting 250.1 mph, apparently a Veryon will do 205mph in a standing mile.
And a tubby old Ford 252.97yikes all be it with an estimated 1800 wheel horsepower and an estimated 1475 wheel torque

Pity a few of you Donkey & Pony boys dont show for the Fighting Torque event wink

Yep, but the Veyron will do it again, and again, and again.......

And this will spray it guts the length of the mile!
