RSC Tuning Titan Exhaust - Gallardo
Discussion
Just back from getting an RSC Tuning Titan sports exhaust fitted to my '07 Gallardo..
I will write a more detailed post and some better pictures and comparison vidoes once I have had a good chance to enjoy this thing, but so far WOW, the drive home with this thing was immense. Such a nice note and a huge improvement over the stock system.
It is stainless steel with a titanium box, it also has a neat back pressure valve which should mean no engine lights, and so far so good - no lights on my car and I had lights even when I just disconnected the stock exhaust!
A few initial pics of the fitment (it fitted perfectly, straightforward job):

Above picture shows the new system vs the stock system.

Thanks to Ben from RSC for meeting me at Paramount Performance to watch it go onto the car and see the end result, and thanks to Paramount Performance for perfect service!

I can`t see how the silencer will work, the exhaust gases will take the easiest route and go out the large pipe.I fitted a quicksilver supersport system that was just a straight pipe, but kept the cats, was only on the car for 2 weeks, very loud noise but not a nice noise and lots of resonance inside the car.
Hi Ted
While I don't pretend to fully understand these things, I am sure they wouldn't put a box in the design for the sake of it and have it sat doing nothing ?!
It is a loud exhaust but I can't say in the short trip home there was much resonance inside, and I'm in a spyder.. I'll be taking the car out for some drives tomorrow assuming the weather holds up, and will let you know how I find the noise as I haven't had a chance to put this through its paces yet.
Definitely very loud though... Retained the cats and I am glad I did as I wouldn't want any louder!

It was very easy to fit. I did not have Lamborghini do the work, I had Paramount Performance do the work as they have very reasonable labour rates (with this being somewhat of an experiment for me). Once the bumper was off it was pretty much a case of bolting off the old one and putting this one straight in, no adjustments and a perfect fit.
I will definitely be posting more as I get the chance to try this thing out, including some videos and such. Just need some time and some weather to get out and drive the thing, perhaps tomorrow

Hi Ted... did you get my PM? Had a bit of a drive today and so far so good. If anything this system is too loud (something I never thought I would say, as I was concerned it would not be different enough and might need to take the cats off!).
Going for a long drive this weekend and will hopefully get some video then. I will also be comparing it directly to a capristo system tomorrow evening.
I spoke to RSC about your comment Ted. While the box does not necessarily perform any silencing (as you pointed out) it does do a lot towards avoiding CEL lights. The chamber and valve in the RSC system help back pressure at lower RPM's and avoid these annoying lights.
So the ‘silencer’ isn’t a silencer as such in that it doesn’t really reduce the volume, but it does add to the aural quality and combined with the location and angle of the pipework which goes into it are key functioning parts of the system.

So I have been living with the RSC Titan exhaust for a couple of weeks now, and the smile is still plastered across my face (and pretty much anyone I drive past as well).
Have taken a few video clips recently, so I will post a few here, here is the first:

I highly recommend everything about this RSC product, build quality was superb and the noise is to die for. Plenty of character and high pitched screaming as well as lots of pops, crackles and bangs when required!
Will hopefully get some more videos of in-car and tunnels up shortly!

Having Experienced the exhaust sound, i would also highly praise RSC Exhausts for the Gallardo Spyder. Extremely loud and F1 when it wants to be, but also fairly quiet cruising in 6th doing 40mph
Superb sound! Tunnels are just epic! Thanks Matt
Paul, you should post a video of a direct comparison. Standard and aftermarket
Superb sound! Tunnels are just epic! Thanks Matt same with the lp560-4 + capristo.
See how different the sounds are?

Will do with the LP560-4 videos munch when i have the time, but i only have videos of Matt's with RSC exhausts. So much louder than stock!! Amazing.
Cool, other way round with me, only videos are stock
You could ue another stock spyder couldn't you? I know it wouldn't be the same, but same exhaust setup?
