Hi all, the time is coming where my gallardo needsto be serviced. It will be the first time i have had to have a service done on it as it was last done just before i bought it 11 months ago. I think im going to get it done by a main dealer as its always has since new, what do you think?
What is involved in the 7500, 15000 and 30000 mile services?
Any help appreciated

George

Check on http://www.supercarhub.com/ for some prices...

Personally I like having proper lamborghini stamps in the handbook, but don't mind indys for any actual work that needs doing.

The service booklet tells you what gets done at each service. For prices call round the main dealers. Indies don't seem much cheaper in my experience and I prefer the proper stamp cone resale time.

According to that website, Lambo Brum wants £1707 + vat for a 30k service

I shall probably use Emblem in Bournemouth if they give me a decent price. I think this service involves replacing amongst other things all the o2 sensors, surely that's not necesary? Thankfully I have a while yet, gives me time to save!

+1 for Emblem in B'mouth. Spyder being serviced as we speak, just an annual so don't know what they will charge for the 30k.

spot on, these prices can only be obtained through the site, we loaded them up last week - bit of a first!, so if you're looking to book in the next couple of months, take advantage as those prices may not be there for all spring. PS - you will also be automatcially entered into a competition too

This may seem a crazy suggestion but why not see if your local audi dealer could do it as the the R8 is pretty much the same as the R8.

That in principle is a great idea. But would you really want an Audi mechanic with no Lamborghini experience looking over your car. R8 has similarities but is not the same.
