Depends on what you want from the car...............

Is it going to be a daily driver or a weekend hoon or a track day vehicle?

F430 - for a great & special road car (high running costs)
GT3 - if you do more than 3 or 4 track days a year (lower running costs)
R8 - superb looking & comfortable everyday supercar (a bit souless)
DB9 - if your over 60 (only joking) !!

430 - great road and track day car.
997 GT3RS - awesome track car (esp. with mich. sport pilots) - good road car (PASM really works).
R8 - great road car - good track car (much better than people give it credit for)
DB9 - Great GT car, drive it to the track - and watch the others go round!

Just my two penneth.

As already said it depends what you want it for. The 430 is a great road car, but it isn't an ideal everyday car, whereas the DB9 is a brilliant everyday car, very smooth ride, loads of power and a decent boot. I've never driven a GT3, but it's supposed to be brilliant, perfect if you do a couple track days per year. R8 is a very good car, but it's very wide, the boot is stupidly small and it will probably get quite a bit of attention i.e it will be harder to park on the street and therefore use everyday.

Hope that helps

Had a similar list myself and wound up in a Gallardo.

Gary, how are you ?
Still racing ?
Anyhow....no lamborghini on your list.. tut tut.

430, great car but over rated imo
GT3 again good car but boring.
R8 Just souless.
DB9 You need to age quite a bit more to own one of those.

I am biased towards the lambo because I have one myself and what a car.
Go take a look and drive one (or pop round and drive mine, you will not be dissapointed )

Tony.

Interesting comparisons, if I was in the position to be making such a choice I would be looking at a Gallardo also, it just seems a bit more special that the rest and its got that fabulous V10 that none of the others have, not counting the later v10 R8 of course.

Just out of interest what about the Nissan GT-R, if you get past any badge snobbery surely it runs rings round most of the cars in that list according to the road tests in all the magazines?
