Appologies for hi-jacking the thread but does any one know if it is possible/easy to fit alternative seats such as off the shelf Recaros to replace the standard seats instead of the carbon sports ones?

I'm interested in getting a 360 at some point and find the carbon seats much better for me as I'm 6'5. Unfortunately cars with these fitted seem pretty rare so just wondering if there are any other options.

I can't see why it would be difficult to fit other seats to the car, but they just won't look "stock" which some people don't like. It's all a personal thing.

I've fitted some Carbon-backed Cobra Misanos to my 355. Look very similar to the Ferrari items and very comfortable. I did a tour round europe in them last year and they were great. LOADS more support than the stock items as well.

Yeah. At home. I'll see if I cna dig them out this evening.
Got another set sitting the garage. Was going to have them re-covered too and fit them to the M3, but don't know if I can be bothered now (long story).
If I don't then I'll stick them up for sale.

yer i know should have but i really wanted a black one this time after 4 reds and f1 box etc etc got the right car for great money just lacking the black carbon seats ... on the hunt still
