Just noticed that my Gallardo has adjustable Koni's all round, is this standard?

They appeared to be wound quite tightly - about 2 inches of screw thread was visible beneath the platform the spring sits on.

Can these be adjusted to soften the ride height?

Hi matey,
The spring platform can be screwed up or down but will only lower or
raise the ride height.
Lowered looks great but not user friendly.
I thought the stock shocks were bilstien???what colour are they.
cheers biggrin

Hey,

They are yellow w/blue springs (say koni on em too) and definately look adjustable.

The car is quite low as it is (see pic) but if i wound them down to the maximum it would be on the floor!

Didnt realise they were only for ride height, thought it would soften things up if I loosened them.

Nice car ,silver wheels eh.
The springs have to support the weight of the car,say you lowered
the spring platform ,in effect made the spring longer .The spring would still compress with the weight
of the car.It may make the spring softer, not sure.I think the spring would end up being compressed the
same amount, just that the car would sit lower.
The valving inside the shock ,and the actual spring rate ie lbs is the cause of harder ride.
My cars in the air if you need any pics. biggrin

The yellow cast on the photo is not because the white balance on the camera is off, there is so much yellow in there the white light daren't go in. laugh

Cheers for that V10,

Yeah had the wheels & calipers sprayed last week, and added clear indicators... much prefer it this way (see below for the old look which you may like!)

Re the shocks i think i better just leave them alone.....
