Just been looking through the news and spotted what looked like the bonnet of a Maserati QP covered in flowers for the funeral of the Polish President.

Looked at the link and its actually a Maser QP hearse, I wonder what made them build that? Check 29secs onwards.

Chop the roof and glass off the back and it'd make a great aussie style Ute hehe

certain sections of the world community don't particularly want German cars, especially it seems, for their last ride
Poles being high on that list I think

witness all the Volvo hearses in Golders Green

I know its only a Hearse, but couldnt the back windows have been styled better? I mean the car has smooth curves all over, then that square back window.

Surely a larger curved window and slightly curving roof line would make the hearse seem far more elegant...

That's f**king awful.

Pininfarina must be constantly vomiting every time that abomination comes on screen...

I like the look of that!! It looks awfully big though. I wonder if they built any 6 door limousines to match?!!!

Our local outfit uses a rather tasteful X300 Daimler Jag. Not sure if it's by Coleman Milne. The Maser does look a bit cumbersome behind the rear doors. Perhaps the coachbuilder could have extended the wheelbase and lengthened the doors by a few more inches.

They've already extended the wheelbase, seems there are people sat in the backseats in the second photo.

So, performance?

It's only a bit of fibreglass, shouldn't add too much weight, right?

So that's a hearse that does the standing 1/4 mile in 12 seconds, 0-60 in 5.5 seconds, and a top speed of about 165 (accounting for the extra drag).

Can somebody book one of these for me when I pop off please?
