Looking through evo magazine and saw a few companys doing re maps for the 360 ferrari
dont know if they do a flash program ,chip or whatever but has anyone gone down this route?
They promise between 40 & 50 hp would it be advised come re sale and would it show up if you got it pluged in at a dealer ?
many thanks

Walk away, walk away and finally walk away! Remapping NA engines is a mugs game and even more so on something like a Ferrari which already makes decent power per CC.

I would bet (not meaning to offend) that you are not able to drive the car to 100% so until you can why try to add a bit more power?

agree with Speedyellow, if you want to spend a few hundred £'s then a bit of performance driver training is far more worthwhile than a remap.

Not casting aspersions on your ability by the way, but there's always room to improve.
A 360 has enough performance for the road. Most people dont ever get close to it's limits so more power isn't the way forward

A lot of 360's will benefit from degreeing the cams first then perhaps having the ECU tweaked. However places that do this are few and far between.

All cars have an element of performance that can be released from them as they are manufactured to meet legislation on things like drive by noise and emissions etc. As you are no longer constrained by these you are free to amend those settings.

Choose wisely if you do go ahead

Forget a remap on a NA car, now a Turbo is another story!

360CS has the same engine as standard 360 with extra 25hp I believe
This is what Ferrari engineers could achieve and what is I believe safe enough for the engine.
I don't think if Ferrari could've easily achieved 450bhp on standard 360 they would have not done that
So do you really think some underground tuners with cheap engine chips can tweak Ferrari engine better than Ferrari factory engineers for fraction of costs?! And safe enough?
Just walk away, don't destroy your car's engine.
If you really want more power and you are confident you use 100% of existing 360's engine ability then think about turbocharging
