Found this clip on youtube,

Maser Spyder at the ring, constant revs, not too fast, average bend but he loses it and hits the barrier. Looking at the video it looks an easy curve to make, so whats the reason behind the crash? Oil patch perhaps?

As above, just looks like he clipped the kerb a bit to heavily or ran on to the grass.

Hopefully everyone was OK and the car was straightened out.

Yup he got onto the kerb... not a good idea at the best of times nad certainly not in the damp..... theres only a couple of kerbs you want to 'clip' at best.... keep it on the black stuff.... once onto the grass you have virtually no run off so bang is the usual sound ...

I've seen that before.

The engine gives a belly full of torque at about 2000 - 2500 rpm, a bit like a turbo kicking in, it happens quite quickly. It's a combination of a wheel on the grass, plus he was booting it at low revs and hit the torque band.

I'm guessing he must have been quite new to the car, I would have been fully expecting that to happen!
