Lambo opening night.

Evening, I recieved an invitation to Lambo Sevenoaks opening a couple of weeks ago but was unable to attend. However last week the sales team sent me an e-mail with some pictures from the do, kind of wishing I did go now. The Miura looks like the star of the show!

No, not for sale. It belonged to one of the guests at the party.

I attended this! Was a very nice evening and some absolutely lovely cars in all their glory...! Didnt occur to me that there could have been some PH'ers there! Did anyone speak to me? I was in the white T shirt and Blue jeans I came with an arabic lady and in the gold phantom.

No, not for sale. It belonged to one of the guests at the party.

as Angelis says, the car is not for sale but has the kind of colossal provenance only a well known Miura can have. The Lamborghini Sevenoaks guest/owner also owns the LM0002 you can see in some of the pictures and at least two dozen cars ranging from this sublime Miura to the ridiculous which she didn't much want to talk about!

The Miura is an 'S' and was once white and left hand drive and owned by Twiggy's manager/bloke Justin de Villeneuve in the sixties/seventies but is now rhd and a 'version' of the infamous pistachio green if a not quite the correct shade.

The Miura owner drove her LM002 up the hill at the end of the evening in a very determined manner and then, perhaps in a slightly less determined way, drove back down the hill a few minutes later...

For no other reason than I think it might be the case, the picture below shows Sandie Shaw having a quick smoke in what may well be this car when it was white and lhd.

Just have to edit it. Hoping to have it all done and uploaded next month. It will include the speeches and interviews with some of the guests.

The interview with Stefan Winklman however, will be in a new internet motoring TV show we are putting together which will also include a 430 spider v gallardo spider feature.
