458 Italia- First Customer Car

Yesterday the first UK customer car was dispatched from HR Owen Ferrari in London. Specced by Garry O'Dea with Rosso Corsa with a black roof, which in my opinion looks really good. This is by far the best looking 458 Italia I have seen so far. What do you think?

The red and black looks better than just red, but personally I just dislike red Ferrari's.. I am looking forward to seeing a 458 on the road. Actually, ecurie25 are having their 458 delivered next month so may go and take a look at that.

Thinking about it, i wonder how many 458's have so far rolled out of Ferrari?

Reminds me of the Enzo that was done by Pinninfarina to look like the P3/4.

Amazing combination, by far th best I have seen to date.

I wasn't even aware you could get different colour roofs to be honest.

Just got back from Monte Carlo where there are plenty of 458's around.

Rather sad to see a pearl white example stranded right outside the Casino with a puncture.

Does the 458 carry an exemption for have a front number plate ?.

i wonder if Hr owen specced the car and then decided afterwards who would be the lucky customer.

do they have a demo car at their london showroom? whenever i have driven past its not been in there. maybe they take it home at night!

No photo's allowed in the casino so not carrying the camera.

I have an order in for the 458 Spider but I am concerned about the size\width. When I bought the 355 it fitted snugly in the garage. The 360 was 'just a little wider', the 430 just a little wider still and the 458 looks to have expanded further.

No car does, you just "give it a go" and carry a "just fallen off" one.

The car does have a front plate in the front boot of the car. Same "just fallen off" excuse if a situation with the police arises.

I saw this St Albans demo at Cliveden, the front plate on this example is a good compromise for the front plate issue.
