Hi all,

I am currently looking for a new project, something to put in my garage and tinker away with over the winter. Ideally I am looking for a damaged car, nothing toooooo serious, but I'm not shy of a bit of work, secondly maybe a poor condition older model. Obviously there are too many people out there who will want to buy a cheap Ferrari, spit shine it and make a profit, this is not what I want to do, whatever I buy, I will keep. Also, this car WILL be repaired correctly.

Anyway, if anybody had one, or a contact with an appropriate car, if you would be so kind to contact me, I'd be very grateful.

It must go without saying, I will make a thread from purchase to complete rebuild of this car for PH.

Regards
VML

Have you had a look at

http://www.bluecycle.com/

Not listing any at the minute but maybe worth checking periodically.

Yeah, both regular spots, but the same few seem to pop up on those two fairly regurally. Plus after 2 bad experiences with copart im not keen. But thanks and keep em coming, there's gotta be one out there smile

May I ask what the bad experiences were with copart?

Personally I have never used copart to know what they are like.

I have just had a look at Trents, Silverlake and Douglas Valley and they don't have any either. Seems to be a shortage at the minute.

What about speaking to some insurance companies to see if they have anything about to come up that you might be able to get prior to auction. Don't know if this is possible and obviously there are lots to speak to but just a thought.
