FML&B from the 2010 Cholmondeley Pageant of Power - pics

Hi there,
Well, despite suffering from terminal man flu I made it to this yesterday and had a great day.
This event is much smaller than Goodwood but there is a huge variety of things going on with everything from hovercrafts to a JCB Dragster. There was a noticeably bigger crowd than the last couple of years and access was loads better with new bridges and track crossings.
Still working through all of my pics, but here's a selection for now to be going on with.
HR Owen had a great display of Lamborghinis including this stunning LP550-2 Balboni

and two LP570-4 Superleggera's inc the well known Green press car

Bentley sponsored the event for the third year running and put on a great show with a selection of true classics, Le Mans racers and the latest road cars.

Aston Martin also brought along a great looking Rapide

Although not as big as Goodwood there were some stunning cars in attendance.
Baby Bertha

Very pretty Carrera RS

Williams FW06

1917 Brutus - BMW Aero Engined 47 Litre from the Sinsheim Museum

Alan Minshaw in his Maserati Birdcage delights the crowds

There were plenty of bikes on track including this 2009 Moto Morini Corsaro Veloce

JCB Dragster, a static display last year. Real crowd pleaser in 2010

Justin Law takes the bridge towards the finish line in true rally style

Very pretty Jaguar XK120 from the JDHT

and a 1957 Jaguar MK1 in a bit of a slide

There was a big feature on Tom Wheatcroft and the Donington Wheatcroft collection, here is a Ferrari 500/625 Ascari being driven by Kevin Wheatcroft.

This is a true whale tail

James Martin seemed to be enjoying himself

Well driving this who could blame him

There were a few interesting cars in the car park including this: -

Hope you like them.
Regards
Tim
