Salon Prive tomorrow
Discussion
Hi there,
Was supposed to go yesterday, but due to work commitments (oh the joys of owning your own business) I can't make it now.
Looks like a few nice cars on show (McLaren F1, XJ220, Porsche 959, Ferrari F50) along with some more modern machinery.
Gutted as I have a media pass for all three days but need to be at Silverstone tomorrow for the Classic.

Oh well.
regards
Tim

This event is now in it's fifth year and still evolving. Goodwood does have the advantage for sheer spectacle but a bigger audience. The Concours was interesting as always and a 'Pebble Beach' style drive by and prize giving for the winners is this year's development.
Even though the prototype was at last year's SP there was no 'production' car this year, unlike Goodwood. Also it would have been nice to have seen the McLaren MP4-12 although that disappointment (for those who haven't already seen it) was outweighed by Rowan Atkinson's Maroon F1 which drew many admiring comments. Nice classic Alfa, Bugatti and Maserati displays.
