Hi there - been surfing this site for some time but only just registered.

I've been a Gallardo owner for just under a year now, and am thinking about selling - absolutely love the car, however for a number of reasons am thinking about moving it on. I was keen to see what a reasonable price might be for an '07 Spyder? Obviously the prices quoted on PH and elsewhere arent necessarily a reflection of what I'd be able to get for it when selling to a dealer...so any insight would be massively appreciated.

Any recommendations as to how to best sell the car (dealer? private sale?) would be great too!

Dealers should want your car, stock is hard to come by so you may find you get better offers than you expected.

Also if you do definitely want to sell, sell NOW while the weather is still fine enough for a Spyder, before you start to get winter pricing / reduced demand.

I think PH is a fair reflection if you plan to sell privately, but you will need to price yourself accordingly as I am sure people prefer to spend that much money via a dealer instead.

Also another thing to consider is sale or return - a lot of dealers tend to offer this now as it doesn't tie any of their money into the car, and in return you get a better price for it while using their connections....

I would email/call most of the key players for Gallardo's from the PH classifieds and see what sort of offers your getting, if your happy then take the money, if not try privately...
