Hi Ferrari chaps, just popping in from the Porsche forum.

Springtime I'm looking to move up to a 997GT2 from the 996 or a 430.

I think I need to hire a 430 for a weekend first to see what they're all about. Are there recommendations for someone who won't bankrupt me on returning it after finding a million stonechips that were already there and other "damage" I'd caused?

Or maybe someone on here fancies a swap for the weekend? That ought to be possible.

lol.

There's no need to be shy, you'd soon get used to the extra power.

Interesting as I'm sure it'd be I'm really not in the market for a 355 so not really going to be worth the setup aggro from my point of view. And I'm not dissing the 355 let me tell you, just that it's not on my list.

Cheers

These are a new company started recently, a very good friend of mine is a silent partner and although I haven't used them myself yet knowing my friend, if they weren't very good, he wouldn't go anywhere near them.

go for a normal test drive, you can immediately see what a 430 is about. in comparison to a porsche in term of living with it it attracts ten times the attention, is much wider but is very easy to drive

How much does the B&W Premium system work ? There seems to be no details on the website regarding cost, etc.

Dreamcarhire.com is the best bet. Speak to Tony Rodia. Jolly nice chap.

I can't remember the exact figure, but I think it was just over £11K (including VAT). A very good deal indeed.

Cheers,
