Has anyone with a Giallo Midas Gallardo noticed a slight difference in colour match between their doors and the rear quarter panels?

I have one this colour and in the right (or wrong) light where the door meets the quarter panel there is definately a slight difference in colour where the rear quarter looks a little darker. I have looked at a few pics of other cars of the same colour and from what I can see this seems quite common. I have looked everywhere for signs of paintwork on my car and cannot see it has ever had any.

I have seen that Lamborghini have 2 painters paint the car, one does the body and the other does the panels off the car such as the doors, mirrors etc. so this could be the reason why but I was just curious to see if anyone else had noticed this.

David.

Can't help with your questions, but someone I was recently talking to at a Lambo bodyshop said that colour was one of the worst to match!

I can certainly believe that, I should think an extra pass when applying the base coat would make quite a difference.

I am interested to see how yours turns out with the new bumper.

Perfect is the answer... Finishline had zero issue matching and spraying the 3 stage orange.
