To make its debut at the Paris Motor Show... I didn't see a thread about it already so here's the first of 6 teaser photos they've released.

Reported 7ltr V12 producing 700bhp with some Reventon styling. But we'll see.

Why do all interesting and decent new car releases occur in Paris or Geneva.

Lambo and Ferrari do not even bother turning up to the uk motorshow let alone make new model announcements. I would have thought the uk is the second biggest market for supercars after the US.

Let's hope they make the Murci replacement more extreme in styling terms. The murci is bland and hasn't dated very well.

As I understand it, the car itself will not debut in Paris, only a "showcase" whatever that means; the official launch of the real thing will be Geneva 2011.

I assume they won't show something wild at Paris and then disappoint six months later...

I'm really hoping the rumours are true and it's another monster V12 but their newsletter states:

"Lamborghini. Sound and light. Paris 2010.
Discover the way to the future of supersports cars."

So with their investments in R&D with hybrids and new technologies it could be anything. At least one thing's for sure, it's guaranteed to look epic!

I doubt it is the new car, as I have solid info that it will not be out before Geneva, and I'm plannig a trip to see it.

I am expecting to see a Murcielago SV Roadster before then, so maybe that is it, but as with the best laid plans, I could be entirely wrong.

All I know is that I'm making plans to attend Geneva to see the new car for the first time.

Having said what I did above, I have just checked with the fountain of all that is Italian, Italiaspeed.com, they seem adamant that it is the new car.

We will see?

So what UK motor show would that be then? I must have missed it. Lets face it if I was a manufacturer the UK is the last place I would launch a car. The last NEC and London shows were a joke. Plus we get to go to Geneva for a decent show. Could be worse!!

The UK motorshow is now day 1 of the Goodwood Festival of Speed, not really a proper motorshow.

I don't mind making the day trips to Geneva/Paris/Frankfurt; in fact it's pretty good fun biggrin

It's not the new car.

It is a 'Lamborghini Technology Demonstrator' to showcase the future of Sports Cars a la Lamborghini.

Expect lots of Carbon!

That said my first reaction when I saw it was that it looks like the area behind the cabin of a roadster of some sort, but I guess we don't really know until it's unveiled...
