60s GHIBLI , AM115-100 What Was The Factory Gold Colour ?
Discussion
My late Father owned a 68 Ghibli 5 Speed 4.7 in Gold with a Dark Tan Leather interior, ( what a car ) from approx 1973 to his tragic early death in 75. He shipped it back from the States, after buying it from its First Owner ( who bought 2 Ghiblis New !!)
I have been trying to trace it for years and i still have most of its Orig Paperwork, Inc The Orig Factory Build Sheet ( Bola Di Speditsione )and Italian Log Book. According to Maserati Club Germany, it is beleived to be somewhere in Germany with a Doctor owner.
The Colour was Simply Stunning ,really suited that Lovely shape, but i cant remember the name for the Factory Gold Colour . Anyone know what it is ?

There is a gold one up for sale in Italy http://suchen.mobile.de/fahrzeuge/showDetails.html...
Best bet - imho - would be to post this on Enrico's Maserati pages, they'll probably even know what happened to your dads car.

Many thanks for your replys Guys, its really apreciated and that Gold one on Mobile.DE , sent a shiver up my spine.
I last saw my Dad and his Ghibli early on a Sat Morn in Sept 75, the clutch was going and he was takeing it round Londons Nth Circ to a bunch of Robbing B...... to get it changed. ( They stole various things from it, inc all his Cassette Tapes etc )
He dropped the Ghibli with them and on the way back in a black cab had a heart attack ( i think his 4rd ) aged just 41. He passed away in the early houres of monday morn....
He adored that car and had quite a few "Adventures" in it. When he had it UK registered, It was put on an N-plate, it looked new as it had only done 13K since 68. A ghibli was a very rare sight then on uk roads and he was allways being stopped/questioned by other enthusuiasts about it . Hence why his Ghibli means so much to me. It went to the states after his death and was last heard of in Germany , haveing suffered a fire . I would love to see it again.
