m is 355 ALARM PROBLEM any advice would be great.

My pal in France has a 355 (circa 1996) the battery on the car died as its been replaced the alarm is now going of continuously ,is there a relearning sequence for the alarm so we can avoid a journey on the low loader to a dealer? any help would be appreciated.

Have you tried turning the car off and back on at its main iscolator point? Should be under one of the covers in the front boot compartment just a bit further back from the off side headlight.

I might reset it.

Tell him to keep his finger on the alarm fob for 10 seconds, the alarm is probably in panic mode.

As well as the cut off under the bonnet there is ( assuming its rhd) another similar reset in one of the pannels behind the seats ( comes off with 4 screws from memory)
