Does anyone have (or know of a dealer/trader/private seller) who may have a F430 Toolkit for sale? I had my F430 on a stand at the Earls Court MPH Exhibition this weekend and some lowlife stole my toolkit!
Has to be the non-leather version (in black) to match the tyre inflator kit.
Checked fleebay but only managed to find a leather version.
Thanks

What? That's ridiculous! What did the owner of the stand have to say about it? Ay form of re-payment?

I wouldn't just accept that it's one of those things! You kindly offered your pride and joy to be looked after by strangers and something that belongs to you has gone missing - I would def ask for compensation.

If you handed me your F430 and I then lost your toolkit would you let me get away scot free from it? Nope. smile

As the director of the company, I will have to personally take the hit for the toolkit. The F430 and the three white cars, M3, Scirocco and TT all belong to the business. Chances are that my stolen toolkit will turn up on fleebay and I'll end up buying it back!

Whilst it's terrible that someone has done this, (and I apologies in advance for this) it's somewhat ironic that your business is Car Audio Security!

That hurts!

To make matters even worse, the Met Police had their stand right next to ours!

If you haven't already, have a chat to Ferrari UK / Ferrari parts, sometimes they can be cheaper for bits than others for the newer cars & may have a little bit of flexibility in the price smile

Rick, I was taking a good keen eye on your car as I am currently looking for an F430 Spider and would want it to have an upgraded electronics system; not so much the sound side of things, but certainly a din nav/bluetooth/ipod style system (looking at the Alpine kit exactly as in yours). Your employees were wonderfully helpful and am I to proceed in buying one of these cars it will be your guys doing the sale/installation.

I did see people regularly jumping into the car which was driving the staff on the stand crazy but playing music with the windows down it was impossible to stop them. I was also told you might be hunting a Spider as well now wink

Are you sure about your kit not being covered in leather? From memory of both my 430s there is only 1 type of toolkit and it is finished in black leather like the one on ebay. The tyre inflation kit is in a black fabric bag but the tool kit was definately black leather.

Here's another on ebay in the US http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ferrari-F430-430-Sc...

you'd love the way that lambo lightened the gallardo toolkit for the superleggera
