Hi, I've just bought a battery conditioner from lamborghini Manchester which u believe is a c-tek item. When I had a 355 I wired the plug adaptor to the jump start point in the engine bay and was thinking of doing the same on my gallardo. Does anyone know if there is a jump start point on these or of where I can connect this?
Thanks

Forgive me if this sounds ignorant (which in the main I am!) just get the + and - the right way round and you'll be laughing. Also I'm sure they come with a cigarette lighter plug?

But no UK Plug!

I'm not sure which model it is to be honest, I'll have a look and get back to you. Your right it does come with the cigarette lighter plug but I would prefer to connect either straight to the battery or to the 'jump starting point' if it has one like on a 355? Also doesn't come with a uk plug so I've just bought a plug adapter.
Thanks

I just connectect mine to the battery + and - using the larger eyelets.
Dangle the adapter behind the battery cover into the boot and that's it.
Easy really.

Out of interest, why would you not want to plug it onto the cig lighter socket?

And please tell me you didn't pay over £40 for it?

ouch indeed and when I found out the lambo charger was actually the XS3600 I also bought one from ebay for around £40.
only thing was disconnecting the battery brings the traction control light on, but that then goes off after a few miles but was a little disconcerting at the time.

When you say disconnecting the batery, do you mean unpluging the conditioner?

Odd, must send some interferance into the system.

Personaly I use the V10 battery conditioner in the back, used on a regular basis it keeps the battery charged!
