Lamborghini servicing in scotland????

Hi

Does anyone know where i can get a Gallardo serviced in scotland other than Edinburgh? Just got quoted £2080 for a N/S/F lower ball joint! Thought the prices for some things were unreal. Cheers

MP Supercars in Cockenzie, just outside Edinburgh always get good reviews for service and prices.

Do a forum search or ask on Scotland forum for more info.

Carlo McCrindle at Top gear cars also does servicing. based at Stoneyburn. To be honest it's just a car so if simple work then anyone who is competent can do it! a Few good guys about
Question is can you get the parts cheaply and compare audi v lambo prices for it?

The official franchise will have their hands tied with regards using genuine parts etc
That's not to say that 'other' sources of parts aren't the same, it's just that they can't go that route.
I've always found their aftersales manager, John Cherry to be very fair, and a straight shooter.

A friend of mine told me they were going to use MP Supercars to service their Gallardo but Lamborghini Edinburgh negotiated on the price a bit, how much I'm not sure though.

MP Supercars get my vote. Honest, good value and good workmanship to boot. Carlo at Top-Gear get a pretty good rep. too although I've never used them.

Used Carlo a few weeks ago for a small manifold problem which saved a fortune against Graypaul's 'price', and the work was first class. I think I'll keep using the dealer for the servicing, tho, just for the stamp. And use Carlo for anything else.

Cheers for the info iv since found out that there are very few aftermarket parts available everything seems to come from Lambo other that a few performance upgrades. Think im going to go with Carlo seems to have a very good rep and £60 and hour sounds a lot better than £125! Again cheers for all the info much appreciated.

I see MP Supercars is now PK Supercars. Bit of an old thread bump, but anyone on here use them?

Think the MP part was Martin and Phil Kyle
Martin left many moons ago so has been PK for yonks.
I’ve used Phil for about 10 years now for Ferrari and Porsche servicing but have seen lots of Lambos, Aston’s and Maserati there as well.
They have a great, friendly and knowledgeable setup.

I've used both PK Supercars and TopGear Specialist Cars, both very good. Is it a Pre-LP or LP Gallardo?

The price you have been quoted is not too bad as unfortunately, the ball joints in the Gallardo's are part of the lower suspension arm and can not be replaced by themselves.
