I Found that Admiral insurance have been spot on with their multicar policy..excellent pricing on my 3 car household
Chris,I think we spoke about your old car a while back (the Bianco GS) - while that was the Holy Grail, I managed to find the car but not to buy it
I did get one in the end though, thanks for your help along the way

I used to insure 5 cars with Chubb on a multi-car policy ( mainly a selection of Porsches, Lotus and an R32) my premium was £4,800 a year. Out of interest a couple of years ago at the renewal I called Admiral and was astounded that they'd insure the same cars for £1,249 ! - I went into great detail re terms and conditions of the policy and the only differences were 1. The cars were insured at replacement value rather than agreed value, didn't bother me as my classic cars were on a completely seperate agreed value policy anyway and had never been on my "multi-car " policy .... and 2. My friends weren't insured to drive them, as they had been on the Chubb policy.
At a saving of around £3,600 pa I changed insurers and have found Admiral to be very good since then and I'm over seven grand better off over the last two years !
Hope that helps.

Only very slightly O/T, has anyone considered or have dealer insurance? Chap I was talking to on a flight recently has several cars and had much better premiums than mine for a higher value collection this way. You have to trade 4 cars a year to qualify I believe, and several on here could satisfy that condition without too much effort. You're also insured to drive anything if you have dealer insurance, again, as I've been told. Sounds like it's worth considering, as long as you don't have to do VAT returns and various other administrative crap.

I also got quotes for this as i have a VAT Registred company but to get the sort of cover i required with just the 3 cars it was coming in at £4500.Admiral so far are the cheapest and offer the best cover too.

I've just switched to Footman James since Michael Ward Associates stopped insuring under 30's.
Actually found Footman James to be cheaper. Nearly went for a multicar, but although the 355 would have been cheaper, the other 2 cars were more expensive!
FJ did me a great deal too (25, 6yrs NCB, 2 cars).Actually found Footman James to be cheaper. Nearly went for a multicar, but although the 355 would have been cheaper, the other 2 cars were more expensive!
