Those guys also have a McLaren F1 for sale....apparently.I don't think I'll ever understand people who buy these amazing cars and never drive them?! I know there are some who purchase in order to speculate on them, but even so, take it for a little drive surely? I don't expect people to use them as daily drivers, but the odd spin would have to be taken if I was ever lucky enough to own something like that.
Car has never been driven ever?
current owner should be shot and have it confiscated. Actually, scratch shot, something more painful.
I can understand people buying cars that may appreciate/are depreciation proof/suffer minimal depreciation deliberately to minimise negative financial impact (hell, I bought my 355 for the same reason), but I actually find it offensive that someone would buy it and deliberately not drive it in order to return a profit....totally not in the spirit of why the car was made in the first pace. And if you have enough money and connections to buy that sort of car in the first place, the odd few £100k you make of reselling it with zero miles probably represents only a small fraction of what you likely make over the same time period from your "regular" job
Shame on you if you're reading this

England, UK, in $. You know someone has taken care over this advert.
Pic looks like the US. Perhaps its an agent in the UK and the price is $1.6m - surely, its not a £1.6m car?Has all the hallmarks of one of their utterly pointless car brokers with no office, no stock, and no clue. There's another one around with an even more ridiculous name, Dream Cars or something, who are just as inept and full of you-know-what,
Anyone that wants an F1 is usually on the factory approved buyer list, has signed their NDA, and will get a look at the market that way. Think of it like this - if you had an F1 that you wanted to sell, would you go through a) the factory, b) an established independent, or c) a never heard of before joker? Granted options a and b might cost more on commission, but your chances of selling are hugely increased.

And you wouldn't even try to open all the doors for a hard to sell product? I don't think commission is the point, but the more people you can get talking about it surely the easier it is ultimately to sell.Anyone that wants an F1 is usually on the factory approved buyer list, has signed their NDA, and will get a look at the market that way. Has anyone on this forum ever bought a car through these brokers? Or met them? Or know anything about them? Because if they have access to the kit they are advertising I'd be surprised that the people behind it are unheard of by PHers.

I have always thought there was something fishy about Car Movers as for over a year they have had this 'for sale' http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1358282.htm Highly unlikly me thinks.

totally agree, however, flip side is who ever buys it has (basically) a brand new Reventon.Shmee - I don't see how this is "opening all the doors" for a hard to sell car. Buyers for cars of this nature won't buy from muppets using stock photos with nothing behind them.
Will - Nope never bought through any of them, but had my time wasted before by the person behind Dream Super Cars (found the name). No business, no client base, no showroom, no cars, no clue. There are enough proper indies out there, from the large like Romans and Hartley, to the much smaller but honest and knowledgeable Elms Collection, so no one in their right mind will believe these ads. It's almost the classified equivalent of the trolls on here who claim they're "about to order my 15th Ferrari" when all they really have is a model of one. No idea how they get off on this, but many of the ads are free I believe, so presume they like taking the odd call and posing as Billy Big Nuts?

Have a look on on wwwjameslist.com there were about 9 Reventons for sale , maybe the seller is fishing for perspective buyers , then buys from someone else and resells for a profit . I wonder what response you'd get if asked for a test drive ?
Just had a quick look on www.jameslist.com number 20 of 20 is for sale on there for $1.7mill from across the pond .
I geuss the agent is just hoping for an enquiry so he can get his kickback , quite how he can advertise for 1.6 when it's up for 1.7 is a bit baffling
