Finally going to pull the trigger and sell my 2005 QP which I have run for the last 4 years and want to get a 612...question is...wheels.

Would love to put the 599 wheels on it but I just saw the prices and its almost cheaper to buy a 599 than the wheels from a dealer. Do these every come up for sale second hand? Should I just got for the BBS equivalents? Which I would give you the model or link but the BBS website was designed by a New Labour IT Consultant...

Cheers...

Andrew.

Is yours on the standard 18inch front/19 rear? The facelifted model had the nicer bigger wheels which i assume are similar if not the same that are on a 599. Keep your eyes peeled on Ferrari forums/ebay or similar for used examples. No idea what the BBS ones look like or what the finish is like but i always find that non-approved alloys can ruin the look of some cars - especially supercars.

599 Wheels do come up quite frequently as many have upgraded to the HGTC items, pricing seems to be around £2,500 - £3,500 a set inc tyre

Thanks for that, looked for 599 items but most are chrome and they make the car that I want to buy (Black) too...ermm how to put it...bling? Few have bought the satin ones but I will continue to look.

Most alloy wheel sites do not seem to list Ferrari which is annoying, and those who do have all 3- or 2- piece wheels which in my opinion don't work with the shape of this car.

I was told by a Ferrari dealer (make of that what you will) that the wheels are chromed but can be retro finished in the ball beaded finish if you want, but can be very expensive. Something worth inquiring about.

Give Joe Macari in S. London a call. I seem to recall they were doing some good deals on exactly what you want.
