How on earth do you manage with such little luggage space?
I had set my heart on one of these gorgeous beasties, found one with a very good spec (price needs some work!) and spent a good hour looking over it yesterday. Had a healthy discussion with the dealer, but when i got to look at the space available for luggage, my heart sank.

I had expectations of driving down to Le Mans, as well as touring at home and across Europe. Mostly, this would be with a passenger, and i just can't see how i could take clothes for two people for anything more than a couple of nights. I'm sure i could get someone to help transporting stuff down to Le Mans, but what about the long romantic weekend to Reims, and the couple of bottles to bring home?

Share your secret with me - how do you do it?

Pack light, that front boot is not so bad if you maximise it smile

You and your passenger should wear all of the clothes you are taking, this means the room in the front for beer wink

My ex gf and I packed for a month long camping road trip round Europe in my 355 Spider over the summer. It included 2 big back packs, 2 small day packs, a hold all with tools/spares, tent, 2x sleeping bags, double air bed, pump, umbrella, beach mats....the list goes on. Couple of pics here to show that I am not jesting!.

It's amazing what you can fit in these types of cars if you really try! thumbup

Both of my TVRs have cavernous boots (two sets of golf clubs easily), and I'm sure the 355 has space too; but the Gallardo Spyder has only four cubic feet, from a "cube" approximately 21inches by 18 inches by 18" deep. There is no space behind the seats, so i'm guessing that some people have to put more luggage in the passenger seat footwell - which is not ideal for the passenger frown

It's not that bad - two squashable bags fit no problem, as it's quite deep.

It won't carry a tent, folding chairs, a stove and a gazebo but if you don't let the missus bring too many frocks you can fit a decent amount of stuff in there.

I did a 2 week trip to Sardinia in my LP560 the summer before last and we managed to fit all our clothes in without a problem. We normaly go to Corsica in the summer for a couple of weeks in my series 1 Elise so I guess we are well practised in travelling light. It is a matter of packing what you want not what you might want. Also a quick launderette visit half way though the trip helps!

The seats do both come forward so there is some clothes storage behind, if you have a suit travel bag you could certainly get a suit, some shirts, T shirts etc

I wouldn't let a small detail like boot size in the way of owning the car, amazing machine!

That's just my opinion thumbup

The size of the luggage space was one of the things that put me off the Lambo.....

One option would be to ensure your passenger only brings skimpy outfits ;-)

It takes an aicraft carry on size bag perfectly and you can still squash a few things around it too. We managed a week around Scotland when my wife was 7 months pregnant with no problem at all.

You are kidding aren't you?
We have a G Coupe and the boot plus bench behind the seats is way enough. We went away to the Loire for 5 nights, 2 of us, and had plenty of room with 4 bags in total.
Unless the spyder doesn't have the bench behind the front seats which I guess it might not for the roof.
Then if that is the case, best not get a soft top.

The spyder does NOT have the bench. No room at all behind seats.
