Hi folks, I'm a Maserati Biturbo owner, I have a 1984 model, with some major terminal rust... but it still drives fine. I've been working on replacing the water pump.

I'm just looking to get in touch with other Maserati Biturbo owners.

nice gransport in your garage, do you enjoy it? Any specific problems? I've been considering upgrading to a newer Maserati.

Thanks.

I've not had it long enough really. From what I read, they're pretty reliable, more so the later the car was manufactured. So far, I love it. I wanted one for years and at the moment, its all I expected. smile

That's good to hear, but I'd definitely would love to hear more about any issues you encounter when you have had it for a while.
My Biturbo has run up substantial expenditure in the past few years, in fact the previous owner who had the car from 1994-2009 spent about 19,000 pounds maintaining it mechanically. I've been fortunate enough to work on it myself, although the engine bay is a bit complicated, and some of the jobs take forever, particularly the water pump... and timing belts.

Blimey, I'm hoping not to have too many problems! smile

Kudos for working on the Maserati yourself - the prospect scares me senseless!

I liked my 430 Biturbo lots. Before I bought it I was told by those I asked what a st car they are. It did not take me long to realise I'd asked no one who'd owned one, let alone even driven one.

O/P sell me yours cheap tongue out

Yes, I do wonder what the fuel injected Biturbo's are like. I have heard they are far more dependable... I like the look of the 90's Ghibli's, but it's a pity so many of them are automatics! yuck!

What year was your 430?

Oh it was an old 1990 rhd auto. Fabulous car. I'd have another.
