Evening all,

Does anyone know the mph/1000rpm in 6th for a 430 Scuderia? I had a supercar experience in one at Thruxton, and from the video I can see this is the fastest engine speed I achieved, but wanted to know if I have broken my top speed record (that was 145mph in a Lotus Esprit V8 round Snetterton)!

I haven't had any luck googling, so I thought someone on the Ferrari forum might know.

Thanks,

Paul.

I don't have one (unfortunately) to try it on but I think the top speed is 198mph and the limiter is either 9k or 9.5k so you're looking at approx 123mph or 118mph with basic maths.

Hmmm, that is assuming that it hits max speed at the rev limiter in 6th... It might not do for sake of the ears at lower speeds!

Autocar's road test quoted 34.5mph/1000rpm, but somehow I don't think this is right!

I just found a youtube video, and reading of the clocks on that, 5300 would appear to equal just over 130mph... oh well, looks like the Lotus record stands biggrin
