Hi My Ferrari 360 F1 has really squeeky brakes!

Is there anyway to fix this? Really want to stop this?

Finally i swapped out my battery the other day and since then the dashboard lights havent worked right and the battery light in constantly on but the alternator is working..

Any ideas? I probably shorted the electronics.. Is this expensive?

Please advise...

Thanks

Jacyn

Did you "switch off" everything using the switch in the boot before disconnecting and replacing battery? I am no expert but I believe this is an isolator switch to prevent damage when changing battery etc. You might try switching it off, waiting a few minutes then switching it on again. This worked for me when I got engine warning lights coming on (but nothing to do with changing battery). Worth a try as it costs nothing and only takes a few minutes.

Regarding the brakes, you may have glazed the pads, are they newly fitted? I did a similar thing to mine because I'd not bedded them in correctly, the squealing once they'd got to temperature was terrible. The pads had to be removed, roughed up and refitted, then correctly bedded in; a few very hard (on the ABS) stops from 60mph without coming to a halt, then a cooling off period did the trick, no more squealing.

On the battery issue, it sounds like you may have blown the dash. This is very expensive to replace, i think circa £2500.

Another general point, NEVER jump start a 360, this will have the same effect.

Best of luck.
