fantastic car but every road test states it is "clinical". That bothers me. I had same view when I drove the R8. Very competent but no character.

Pretty poor review that.

Clearly the car sounds awesome. But he doesn't really describe why, just tells us that it is.....

Needs a good detailed review!

Nothing that a loud exhaust and a big stripe won't fix biggrin

I have yet to see a proper review of the 12C with facts rather than emotions.

Hopefully Top Gear can do a better piece than these journos...

Statistically the car is great but it does nothing for me in terms of desirability - unfortunately.

Surely easier to fix with a face list/ go faster stripes. Even the new Cayenne looks better than the ugly monster it was.

Would like to see one in the flesh but so far in media it's only ever looked completely dull to me .. A shape thats no more noteworthy than say a squashed scirocco

Contrast this withe the MaccaF1 when that came out, it looked like NOTHING else on the planet. This car seems to be devoid of visual drama yet it isn't even classically pretty either.

Given it's their cooking model it would be good to assume they will leave their dramatic looks for the next model up - the F1 replacement? I'd buy that for a dollar...

It looks SO good in the flesh, sounds so good and the detail work is stunning.

Before deciding it's an ugly dud without drama and the wrong engine, how about waiting and having a proper look at one....

Looks a very competent car, but it does absolutely nothing for me frown Yes it's fast but buy a 911 Turbo S for £30k less and I bet it'll be just as fast. I'll wait until I see one in the flesh before I make my final judgment but so far I'm not sold.

I have the utmost respect for its dynamic superiority - I agree it's 'better' than the Ferrari 458, but it's not making my flesh tingle with joy the way a Ferrari, or indeed a Lamborghini, does.

A California and 612 Scag make your flesh tingle? There has been some posts that paint the whole Ferrari range like works of Art. The less said about the new 4WD monstrosity FF the better. The 550 Maranello was ugly though dynamically brilliant.

Granted the 458 is stunning but there has been allot of ugly cars that have came from Ferrari.

Didn't see anyone complaining *too* much about the way the 360/430 look. More of a "could do better" and then "but it doesn't matter because it's a great drive". Surely most of this comes down to people having an attachment to the marque rather than the car.
