Slightly off-topic, did Ferrari ever produce an F50 that had a fixed and solid roof i.e. not the removable roof option. A bit like a Berlinetta?

Wiki (in its infinite wisdom) says 3 were sold to the public, but were they road-legal?

If so, 750 bhp and 900 kg kerb weight yikes

Getting back briefly to the F50 thing, did they all come with the hardtop roof? And is there much involved in switching between spyder and hardtop?

The F50 came as both hard top and barchetta. It takes two people a couple of hours to swap them over. It is trickier from coupe to barchetta as the rollover hoops have to be placed with spacers precisely so that the cover panel fits without taking the paint off.....

The hard top or cover panel fits inside a flight case supplied with the car. (along with luggage and custom tods racing shoes in the original owners size).

Cool, thanks! Always wondered what was involved. I personally prefer the look of the hardtop, but most of the cars seen in public tend to be the barchettas
