Hello all,

Would anyone care to estimate the dealer buy (and sell) values, and the private sale value, of my September 2007 Gallardo Spyder? I'm trying to figure out whether the trade-in for it that I've been offered against the price of a lovely new one represents good value.

The details are:
18,100-and-a-bit miles
Full service history with Lamborghini London / HR Owen
Grigio something-I-forget paint
Bi-colour black and silver seats, with silver stitching
Black carpets
Silver Callistos: 3 scuffed rims (courtesy Marlow Bridge), plus 1 recently nicely refurb'd
Bog-standard silver colour plastic steering wheel
E-gear
Front lifting thing
Anti-theft system
Navigation
Bluetooth
CD changer
Rear view camera
Electrically adjustable / heated seats
Travel package (cupholder and glovebox)
Leather packages I and II
Dark rear lights
White side indicators
Cobra tracker

Rear offside quarter resprayed (by Lambo Lon's Lambo-approved shop) after paint damage by burning debris from a tyre blowout at speed. [And a very fine job they did too.]

A few stone chips on the front (it's been driven, not kept as a garage queen).

Currently starring as the delightful Miss June in the 2011 LCUK calendar (albeit with a mouthwash-strong green cast that you could rinse with).

Reg plate not included.

TIA to anyone who can shed light where currently there is darkness.

That's grigio Proteus.
I would think they will stand it in at about £70k, do £5k of work on it (service etc) and put up at £92k.
Thank you for the reply.

I just found the original invoice for the car: the paint color is Grigio Lynx, and the carpets are Nero Perseus.

Sounds about right ballpark. I guess you could try for £85k private sale and come down a bit if haggling. There are not a lot around so decent chance of sale. Might be worth getting the wheels refurbished first as not expensive and makes it look so much better when viewed as a potential service.
